Contest Information
General Information
The contest will last for 2 hours and is designed for beginners or those who have not passed the bronze division of USACO. Teams can have 1-3 people, and you may either sign up with the rest of your team or alone. If you sign up alone but wish to be in a team, mark that option on the form.
Problems and Scoring
All contest problems will be hosted on XYD. There will be 10 problems of varying difficulty, each worth 100 points. A description of the problem will be provided with a sample input and output. Each solution’s input and output must match the given example’s format exactly, or else it will be marked wrong.
Solution Submission Information
Solutions to contest problems must be written in C++, Java, or Python.
Input and Output Format are required to be:
C++ – cin/cout (iostream)
Python – Standard input and output, example includes input()
Java – System.in / System.out

Contest Schedule
1:00 PM – Begin check in
1:00 – 1:30 PM – Open house
1:30 – 3:30 PM – Contest hours
3:30 – 4:00 PM – Score announcements and Prize distribution
4:10 – 5:00 PM – X-Camp Summer Camp Closing Ceremony
5:10 – 6:00 PM – X-Camp Alumni Presentation
6:00 – 7:00 PM – Pizza Party
Contest Rules
Failure to comply with these rules will result in disqualification
- Collaboration between different teams is strictly prohibited.
- The use of generative AI tools and prewritten code is strictly prohibited.
- Participants may only use search engines to look up syntax.
- Researching solutions or looking up full answers is prohibited.
- Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
- If any questions or uncertainties arise during the contest, please ask a staff member or administrator for clarification.

X-Camp Academy is a programming education institution founded in August 2017 in Silicon Valley by two senior Google engineers. It provides high-quality programming education to middle and high school students and supports their success in USACO and various STEM competitions.
Over the past 7 years, more than 300 X-Camp students have advanced to the USACO Silver level or higher, including over 60 at the Platinum level and 25 at the national team level. In the 2023/2024 cohort, 14 X-Camp alumni were selected for the US National Computer Olympiad training team (USACO/EGOI), and one was selected for the Canadian National Team (CCO).
